Almost forgot about the Violent Femmes. It’s so hard to pick a favorite Femmes song – Blister in the Sun, Gone Daddy Gone, Kiss Off…. But, I think this was the first Violent Femmes I was exposed to. It’s probably my favorite.

Saw U2  at America West Arena on the Achtung Baby Tour, and I think it’s probably one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.  I wasn’t too thrilled about going at first.  My best bud, Andy, called me and said he had come across a couple of tickets and if I wanted to go.  When we got there, the concert was sold out, and we were getting offers of a couple hundred for each ticket.  I remember telling Andy that’s a whole lot of Newports!  Glad we went.
